Terms of Service
1. Your license
BreatheReply is sold as a one-time, perpetual license. Your license belongs to you, not to a machine. How many devices a license covers will be stated at launch, before you buy.
2. Bring your own model
BreatheReply is a client, not an AI provider. You supply your own API key for a third-party model, or run a local model. Your use of any third-party model is governed by that provider's own terms and pricing — BreatheReply is not a party to them, and model costs (if any) are between you and that provider.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use BreatheReply in compliance with applicable law, and not to use it to generate unlawful, harmful, or deceptive content. You are responsible for the replies you choose to send — BreatheReply drafts, you decide.
4. Provided "as is"
BreatheReply is provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to make it reliable, but we don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Generated replies are suggestions; their final content and consequences are yours.
5. Refunds
Our refund policy will be published at launch, so you can read it before you buy. If you have a billing question, reach billing.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BreatheReply's total liability for any claim arising from the product is limited to the amount you paid for your license.
7. Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Privacy Policy
1. The short version
Your messages never leave your machine except to the model you explicitly chose. BreatheReply does not receive, store, or have access to your conversations. There is very little data for us to protect, because we almost never have any.
2. What we do not collect
- Your messages or conversation content
- Your API keys (encrypted, stored only on your device)
- Your contacts, chat history, or identity
- Any content uploaded to "improve the model"
3. What stays on your device
Your API key (encrypted), your settings, and your reply-later list live only on your machine. Uninstalling removes them. Nothing is synced to us.
4. Optional anonymous statistics
If you opt in, we record only the type of action (for example, "a reply was copied") to help improve the product — never message content, never anything that identifies you. You can turn this off at any time in Settings, and it's off by default where required by law.
5. Third parties
When you use your own API key, your messages go directly from your device to that model provider. Their privacy policy applies to that hop — we recommend choosing a provider whose data practices you're comfortable with. Using a local model removes this entirely.
6. Your rights
Because we hold almost no data about you, there is usually nothing to access, correct, or delete on our side. For anything related to optional analytics, or any privacy question, contact us and we'll respond.
